Processing Site Supervisor ( Crushing & Screening)

PURPOSE: As a Processing Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the site on behalf of Duo Group. This includes overseeing personnel, coordinating plant operations, liaising with the client, and ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual objectives. This role may also involve hands-on operational duties when required.
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
| Ensure all plant operations are carried out safely and efficiently
Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and personnel Maintain high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance Attend and contribute to site safety meetings and briefings Liaise with senior management to maximise operational output and performance. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and quarry management Ensure all contractors on site are compliant with site requirements, documentation, and safe systems of work. Report site issues promptly to enable timely resolution Complete and maintain accurate daily allocation sheets and production (tonnage) records Monitor plant performance and carry out routine inspections to identify defects, undertake minor repairs where appropriate. Escalate defects through appropriate reporting systems Maintain accurate records, including inventory and activity logs |
Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, safe, and organised condition.

| PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE |
| Proven experience supervising operations within crushing, screening, washing, or batching environments
Experience in site supervision and completion of RAMS Good understanding of plant operations and maintenance Knowledge of the construction or quarrying industry |
Awareness of commercial and contractual considerations
| CORE SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES |
| CPCS/CSCS cards relevant to crushing/screening operations
SSSTS or SMSTS Excavator/loading shovel licence (desirable but not essential) Flexibility with working hours, including overtime where required Strong organisational skills Effective communicator at all levels Excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines Proactive problem-solving approach High level of attention to detail and record keeping Strong safety-first mindset |
